Agile Coaches who understand the level of balance needed between being pragmatic and dogmatic, are the ones who are most successful in organizations that take on the transformation endeavor. Organizations have to also have an open mind to try new processes and provide the coach with enough empowerment to instill changes that will last. It also needs to ensure there is the right kind of culture or, as Peter Drucker would say, the culture will eat the strategy for breakfast.
